As a newborn photographer in Seattle WA, my goal is to help you capture their “littleness” with timeless images you will cherish for a lifetime. My approach to baby photography is focused on simplicity and connection, ensuring the result is something real, familiar, and lasting.
The Studio Experience
Every Sailor + Sage session is individually styled to reflect your family’s aesthetic. When you schedule your session, you will complete a questionnaire that helps me style the colors, textures, and props to your specific preferences.
The studio, located in Bonney Lake, is a calm, minimalist Seattle portrait studio designed specifically for your comfort and your baby’s. It is fully curated with the highest-quality props and wraps, ensuring the focus remains entirely on your little one’s natural beauty.
When to Schedule
Because those sleepy, curled-up poses are best captured very early on, newborn sessions are typically scheduled for 5–15 days following your due date. I know that babies rarely follow a strict schedule! If your sweet little one arrives early or late, we will adjust your session date as needed. I make sure we find that perfect window to document your baby.
Siblings & Family Connection
While the focus is on the newest member of your family, I love including parents and older siblings in these sessions. There is something so special about a sibling photoshoot during those first few weeks, capturing the natural energy and the quiet realization that your family has grown.
