SeaTac Family & Baby Photography
Sitting right at the heart of the corridor between Seattle and Tacoma, SeaTac is a place defined by movement and connection. Being based in Bonney Lake, I’m frequently in this area working with families who want to slow down that fast pace for just an hour to document the season they are in. I’m Mikaila, and at Sailor + Sage, I focus on the authentic, unscripted moments that happen when you stop trying to pose and just start being together.
Love for the Small Details
Play and Genuine Interaction
When it’s time for your family picture photoshoot, the last thing I want you to feel is stressed. I know that kids have short attention spans. I deal with it every day with my own three. I honestly don’t need them to sit still. I meet your children where they are. We focus on play and genuine interaction. Every session comes with an exclusive location and prep guide to ensure we find a beautiful, low-traffic spot where your family can feel completely at ease.
Preserving the Moments You Never Want to Forget
I offer a variety of ways to tell your family’s story, ensuring that the details of this chapter are preserved forever:
Capturing the strength and quiet anticipation of your pregnancy.
These are best captured in the first 5 to 15 days to document those tiny, brand-new features.
A joyful, messy, and high-energy way to celebrate your child’s first big milestone.
A series of sessions designed to document the massive changes during your baby’s first year.
I love documenting these meaningful seasons for families who care more about real connection than perfectly posed moments.
Common Questions About SeaTac Sessions
How do we pick a location in the SeaTac area?
Once you book, I’ll send over an exclusive location and prep guide. Since SeaTac is so central, we have access to some beautiful, quiet spots that offer great light without the crowds of the bigger city parks.
What happens if my baby is having a "fussy" day?
As a mother of three, I promise you, I’ve seen it all. We move at your baby’s pace. If we need to stop for a break, a snack, or just a breather, we do. My goal is a stress-free environment where the best photos happen naturally.
How far in advance should I book my family photoshoot?
I recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead, especially for weekend sessions, so we have enough time to plan and prepare everything for your session.
