The Three-Part Experience
I want to capture every side of your baby’s personality during their first birthday session. My cake smash experience is divided into three parts to give you a diverse and beautiful gallery:
The Portraits
We begin with classic, timeless portraits of your little one before the mess starts. These are perfect for capturing their current milestones and natural expressions.
The Smash
This is the main event! We introduce the cake and let your baby explore, taste, and play with it. Whether they dive right in or are a bit more cautious, I’m there to capture every authentic moment.
The Splash
To finish, we enjoy a “bath after smash” portrait session. Babies usually love the water, and these shots of them splashing in a tiny tub make for some of the most adorable and clean-up-friendly images.

A fully custom-styled set designed around a specific theme of your choice.
Timeless Smash
A minimalist, airy look featuring a custom balloon garland and "one" decor.
Every session includes the cake and all decor, styled by me to match my light-filled aesthetic. This ensures the focus stays exactly where it should be—on your baby’s sweet face.
A Patient, Child-Led Approach
As a Seattle baby photographer, I take my time and let your baby lead the session. We move at their pace, not a set schedule. If they need a break for cuddles or a snack, we pause and give them the space they need.
